Exhibit Info

Registration
is limited to boats whose main structural strength is derived from wood
components. External applications or sheathing of fiberglass, reinforced
plastic, etc. are acceptable.
Boats will be exhibited on land and in the
water at Francis Marion Park, in the center of the Harborwalk area at
Broad & Front Streets.
Floating dinghy
docks projecting into the Sampit River will be used for water displays.
Dock space will be provided for larger vessels as well.
Drafts up to seven feet can be accommodated. Space will also be provided for commercial and
non-commercial exhibits.
Eight award categories for the exhibit will be:
- Sailboats
- Inboard Powerboats
- Outboard Powerboats
- Classic Sail (built prior to 1960)
- Classic Power (built prior to 1960)
- Owner Designed and Built Boats
- Century Class (100 years or older)
A People's
Choice Award will also be presented.

Exhibitors of arts, crafts, models, or other related exhibits are
encouraged to register for the show. Exhibits can be commercial
or non-commercial. All such exhibits require pre-approval by the exhibit
jury.
A registration fee of $30 per applicant includes the registration of one
boat or one related exhibit along with a welcome packet and dinner. Additional
boats may be registered by the same applicant for $5 each. Dinner for
family members or guests is $15 each.
