Georgetown has been a working seaport for more than 250 years, linking much of the area's history and culture to the sea.

Come celebrate the rich maritime heritage of South Carolina's third oldest city and second largest port.

New World Record Holders

They had a time of  2:27:33. The World Record is based on time of build and quality
of workmanship.  They were presented the “Golden Calk Gun Award.”

 

Six Knot Challenge Winner

Maura Hackett with the Spirit of South Carolina tied six knots in 33 seconds. 
The Spirit crew achieved 4 of the top 5 fastest times.
